Marcus is one of the coaches at Emerge CrossFit. He is married with two dogs. He has been doing CrossFit on and off since 2015 and originally started because his parents dragged him to a class when he returned home from his freshmen year of college. 

Marcus participates in, as well as coaches, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu outside of CrossFit. His hobbies typically include Warhammer 40k and training his dogs. Marcus has his CrossFit-L1 certification.
